Todd Arnold “Rosie” Rosenbaum was born on June 25, 1966, in LaPorte, Indiana, to the late Arnold and Nancy (Tofte) Rosenbaum. A graduate of LaCrosse High School’s Class of 1984, Todd continued his education at Southwestern Michigan College, where he played basketball, before later earning certificates through Purdue University.

A fourth-generation farmer, Todd dedicated much of his life to agriculture and proudly embraced his identity as an “Agricultural Engineer.” He was the owner of Circle R Farm and Hoosier Quality Meats alongside his wife, Tricia, and was deeply involved in raising show cattle and show pigs.

Beyond farming, Todd enjoyed Purdue basketball, spending time with his grandchildren, caring for his dog Diesel and supporting John Deere equipment. Those who knew him remembered him as a hardworking, committed and family-oriented man.

Patricia “Tricia” Rosenbaum Remembered

Patricia Jean “Tricia” Rosenbaum was born on February 7, 1966, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Garland Raymond and Shirley (Ridge) Weaver.

Tricia attended Elston High School in Michigan City before graduating from Mark Keppel High School in Monterey Park, California, in 1984. She later obtained her real estate license through McColly School of Real Estate and spent approximately three decades working as a real estate insurance agent.

After retiring, Tricia devoted her time to farming alongside Todd. She enjoyed caring for their cattle, working in the fields, spending time with her grandchildren, reading her Bible and relaxing near the pond they loved.

She was also an active member of Wanatah American Legion Post 403 and served as a Cass Township Board member. Her faith, kindness and dedication to others were qualities that those close to her deeply valued.

Todd and Tricia Rosenbaum’s Life Together

Todd and Tricia were married on September 3, 1994, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wanatah. For more than three decades, they built a life centered around love, family and shared passions.

The couple was known for their unique personalities and connection, including their enjoyment of CB radios, where they were recognized by the nicknames “Aqua” and “Cow Pie Patty.”

Their greatest joy came from their children and grandchildren. They are survived by their children, Alexandria Bucher, Jillian Rosenbaum and Jonathan (Lauren) Rosenbaum, along with their five grandchildren: Laken Blasko, Bane Bucher, Adilynn and Ireland Garrison and Vaeda Rosenbaum.

Todd is also survived by his sisters, Michelle (Joe) Dyjak and Renee (Joe) Rudolph, along with nieces and nephews. Tricia is survived by her siblings, Terry (Donna) Manley and Kristina (Donald O’Brien) Marshall, along with nieces and nephews.

Wanatah Funeral Chapel is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church of Wanatah or LaPorte County 4-H Cattle and Swine.
